If you've been meaning to start something for a while now
The Come Up

Make your first dollar on something that's yours. In the next 30 days.

I'm not gonna tell you it's a mindset thing. I think it's simpler than that. Nobody's paid you for your thing yet, so it doesn't feel real to you. Once somebody does, that changes fast.
Here's the whole thing. You pick one thing you could sell. You find a few people who'd want it. You ask one of them for money. I give you one thing to do every day, about twenty minutes, and I'm on a call with you every week. It's $97. If you do all thirty days and nobody pays you, I'll send the $97 back.
Nobody's paid you Doesn't feel real So you don't start Still nobody's paid FIRST $1 THE WAY OUT
This is the loop most people are stuck in. There's one way out of it.
I'M IN · $97

Where every one of them started
Sound familiar

I went through what thousands of you told me was in the way. Most of it came down to three things.

This week I sat down and went through the assessment answers. Thousands of them. I figured I'd see a hundred different problems. I didn't. Most people said some version of one of these.

"I don't know what my thing is."
Direction
"I haven't started yet."
Starting
"I don't have the money to start."
Money

And right behind those came the rest of it. I don't think I can. I quit after two weeks. I never have the time. The people around me don't get it.

Look, I don't think those are seven different problems. I think they're one. Nobody has ever paid you for something that was yours. Not once. So the whole thing still lives in your head, and it's really hard to get up early for something that only lives in your head.

It's not what you think

What it feels like, and what I think is actually going on.

It feels like a mindset problem
Nobody's paid you yet. That's the whole issue.
It feels like you don't know what your thing is
You've got three of them. You just never had to pick one.
It feels like you need money to start
You need one customer. The money comes from them.
It feels like you're not consistent
You've got nothing to keep score with. A dollar is a score.
It feels like fear
The first step is too big. So we make it twenty minutes.

I got off the phone earlier with a guy who's run his own business for years. Real customers, real money. And he told me his biggest problem right now is his mindset. I don't buy it. He's starting something new, and nobody's paid him for the new thing yet. That's all it is. He's in the exact same spot as somebody who's never started anything.

You can't read your way out of this. I've tried. Somebody has to actually hand you money for your thing, one time. After that you're not the guy who's been meaning to start something. You're a guy who sold something. Those are two very different people.

How long have you been meaning to start?

Nick Ayala
Nick Ayala

Be honest with yourself. A year? Two? Longer than that?

Now think about what you've spent in that time. The courses. The books. The notebook with the plan in it. The times you told somebody about the idea and got that look.

That's what staying stuck has cost you so far. This is $97 and thirty days. If it doesn't work you get the $97 back, so I'm honestly not sure what the downside is.

I've started four companies from nothing and sold all four. Every one of them started with me not sure anybody would pay. The first dollar was the hardest one every single time. It was never really about the money. It was about whether I believed the thing was real yet. And the only thing that ever fixed that was somebody paying me.

So that's what we're doing here. I'm not helping you build a brand or find your niche or write a plan. I'm getting you paid one time, for something that's yours, in the next thirty days. And I'm watching while you do it.

The 30 days

Four weeks. Here's how it goes.

Days 8-14

Days 15-21

Days 22-30

on purpose
1
Pick it Week one
You don't need a business idea. You need one thing somebody would hand you money for. Something you're good at, something you make, an hour of your time. You've got more than one, I promise. By Sunday you'll have picked one and written it down in the room where everybody can see it.
2
Find who wants it Week two
I'm not talking about followers. I mean ten actual people who have the problem your thing fixes. Most of them are already in your phone. You're gonna talk to them and find out what they'd really pay for.
3
Ask for money Week three
This is the week you've been avoiding. You make somebody an offer, out loud, and you ask them to pay you. Venmo, Zelle, cash, doesn't matter. No website. No store. Somebody says yes and hands you money.
4
Do it again Week four
One dollar could be luck. Two isn't. You do it again so you walk away knowing you can do it on purpose. Then we sit down and look at what you actually built here and what you want to do with it.
One thing a day. About twenty minutes. Everybody in the room gets the same thing to do, and what you make of it is yours. When day 30 comes there's either a number next to your name or there isn't.
Day to day

What a day actually looks like.

Morning
You get a text from me with the one thing to do today. It's not a lesson. It's a thing to go do, and you can get it done before your coffee's cold.
20 min
You do it, then you post in the room that you did it. Sounds small. It's the part that keeps people from quietly quitting in week two.
Weekly
One live call with me. You bring whatever got in your way that week and we deal with it right there. Recorded if you can't make it.
Day 30
The board goes up. Everybody who got paid, and everybody who didn't. If you did the days and you're not on it, you get your $97 back.

Who I built this for.

This is you if

You've been meaning to start something for a long time now

You've got an idea, or three, and you've never picked one

You keep it to yourself so nobody can laugh at it

You go hard for two weeks and then disappear

You've read enough. You want something to actually happen

You already run a business, you're starting something new, and it scares you the same way the first one did

Honestly, the only way to lose money on this is to buy it and not show up. So don't do that.

Before you ask

Stuff people ask me.

I don't know what I'd sell.

Good. That's week one. That's the entire point of week one. You don't figure it out before you join. You figure it out in the room with the rest of us, in seven days. Every person who's ever told me they don't know their thing had at least three. They just never had to pick.

I don't have money to start anything.

You don't need any. There's no website, no store, no ads, no inventory. The first money that moves is money coming to you. The $97 is the only thing you spend, and you get it back if it doesn't work.

I've never sold anything in my life.

Then this is the easiest place to do it once. You're not selling to strangers. You're making one offer to one person who already has the problem. We'll build what you say together before you say it.

Is this for business or for my life?

Both, because it's the same dollar. Some people walk out of this with a side income. Some walk out knowing they can, and that changes how they show up everywhere else. You don't have to decide which one you are.

What if I miss a day?

You won't fall behind. Everything stays open, the calls are recorded, and the room's still there when you get back. This is built for people who have a job and a life. Miss a whole week though and you'll feel it, so try not to.

What if I do all 30 days and nothing happens?

You email me and I send the $97 back. The board shows who did the days. That's it. No fine print.

When are the calls?

Sundays at 8pm Eastern. Four of them, and every one gets recorded. Come live if you can. The people who show up live are the ones who end up on the board.

P.S.

You made it all the way down here, so some part of you already knows this is you. It was never the idea and it was never the money. Nobody's paid you yet, and until somebody does, none of it feels real.

Thirty days from now you've either got a number next to your name, or you're thirty days further into meaning to start. It's $97 and you get it back if it doesn't work. Get in here.
